  • Successfully completed numerous multiphase design, production, and installation projects involving budgets up to $130,000 such as The City of New York, Macy's, Lilly Oncology, and Instinet

  • Successfully directed the UX/UI for Johnson & Johnson Vision Scientific Communications Platform

 

  • Directed actionable design concepts and ideas to junior designers, freelancers, and production artists for multiple clients

 

  • Facilitated client meetings and conceptualization sessions to brainstorm marketing strategies

  • Supervised design and layout of re-branded wayfinding signage system for 4,000 square feet of office space for The City of New York (FISA)  

 

  • Collaborated with Creative Director at Macy's to ideate, produce, and install impactful environmental displays

  • Developed and organized archive of all branded collateral assets for clients, including logos, fonts, branding guides, and stock imagery to streamline creative process

  • Interpreted and translated complex health-related information into accessible designs and content for medical education presentations

Gotham Color is a high-volume design and print communications agency with a small number of dedicated staff that services a large number of clients in the metropolitan NYC area.

  • Responsibilities included: Creating convention booth layouts using proprietary software (learned onsite); also did layouts for signage and convention programs using Adobe applications as well as Quark Xpress.

Freelance Design Assignments

  • Worked a variety of Freelance assignments through temp agencies; allowed me flexibility to spend more time with my three sons.

RSVP was a high-volume print & design company in Midtown Manhattan. It was not uncommon to receive requests for a 2 hour turnaround for certain clients.

  • Conceptualized, designed, and executed presentation and proposal themes (covers and templates), collateral materials, posters;

  • Developed winning proposal themes for business pitches to Disney, Pitney Bowes, Pratt & Whitney

  • Trained designers in various software packages

  • Provided onsite technical support at trade shows, conventions and oral presentations to clients

  • Negotiated new alliances with paper and printing vendors.

 

Was promoted several times until I was placed in charge of Management Consulting Marketing Design group, where I supervised 4 artists.

Ernst & Young
Graphic Specialist

  • Responsibilities included: Worked in a department staffed by four full-time designers and multiple temps and freelancers, created on-screen presentations, handouts, proposals, invitations and collateral materials using PowerPoint, Aldus Persuasion, and Quark Xpress.

It was a fun, collaborative environment where I acquired a wealth of knowledge on best practices and techniques.
